Ohi is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Automation to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will analyze the functionality of applications and design automated tests to validate their performance. You’ll be the founding member of the QA team and report to the Head of Engineering. Responsibilities Include

• Build collaborative relationships with Product and Engineering leaders
• Know and understand Ohi tech process and tools (manual and automated)
• Bring best-in-class test automation processes into Ohi to enable our agle teams to produce high-quality work at ever faster speeds
• Coordinates with agile teams to establish and follow testing processes (manual and automated) from design to release to production
• Use product requirements to contribute to test plans and scenarios for new and existing products and features, with a focus on test automation
• Ensure automated test scenarios catch regressions and maximizes requirement coverage for new features
• Collaborates with the Manual QA team to automate their manual tests
• Provide best-practice guidance for current automated testing infrastructure
• Recommends automated testing infrastructure improvements
• Develop creative new ideas for how to meet our agile teams quality and velocity
• Document your activities to enable all agile teams to work quickly and independently

Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
• Have 4+ years of hands-on QA or Software Engineering experience
• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience writing and executing automated test plans for enterprise systems (warehouse and/or supply chain management preferred)
• Have a track record of articulating and leading software quality initiatives
• Proficient in Javascript
• Python, PyTest, Node, Selenium/Cypress are nice to have
• Comprehensive knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
• Are technology-agnostic and willing to work with solutions that solve problems
• Desire to iterate constantly as we learn from our clients’ needs and build a product that supports all users (internal and external)
• You are able to articulate and explain quality assurance requirements to non-technical members of the team and explain various tradeoffs of alternative solutions
• You are self-directed and effective at managing your time across multiple priorities and projects
• Great collaboration and communication skills along with an excellent attention to detail
