The Company

Workweek is a modern media company on a mission to entertain, educate, and connect the business world through unique personalities, unparalleled expertise, and innovative operations.

Workweek boasts a roster of nearly 20 creators and growing. Each of these creators is an expert in their respective industry, covering topics from Fintech to sales to healthcare… even culture and memes. Workweek creators produce a variety of content via newsletters, podcasts, and social media channels in order to build a community of learners within those industries.

Simply put, we’re on a mission to make work fun.

The Team

For the past 15 years, millions of businesses have been beholden to “the Facebook tax.” If you weren’t advertising through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google, or Twitter, your business was functionally invisible.

Now, Meta’s advertising marketplace has been “competed out”, driving CPAs higher and conversions lower. Banner Blindness has rendered most online advertising ineffective, while new platforms like TikTok are creating brand new ways to reach millions of people.

As a result, we’re entering a new era: Investors, founders, and individual creators have built entire businesses from the success of their personal brands and social media presence.

This new era is defined by storytelling, narrative, and organic reach.

That’s where we come in. Platforms like Twitter and Linkedin have become the most powerful means of building a large audience for both individuals and brands alike. The problem is, most people don’t know how to use it.

That’s why we formed the Executive Branding team.

The Role

As a Ghostwriter, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a roster of highly-accomplished clients that includes industry experts, entrepreneurs, and content creators. You will learn each client’s voice, writing style, and area of expertise to take their best ideas and share them with the world via Twitter and Linkedin.

Put simply, your job is to take some of the best minds in business and make them famous.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Executive Branding clients to develop social media content strategies catered to their specific goals.
  • Learn the voice, writing style, and area of expertise of each client to produce Twitter/Linkedin content on their behalf.
  • Write original content for each client using a combination of existing content, interview notes, and original research.
  • Use Twitter on a regular basis in order to maintain awareness of social media news, trends, and narratives. Cultural awareness is vital for this role.
  • Work closely with the Ghostwriting Manager to develop new growth strategies for social platforms like Twitter and Linkedin.

If you’re reading this, it means you’ve got the kind of attention to detail we’re looking for. In your application, please attach a writing sample and include your Twitter handle somewhere on your resume.
