The Role

This is a foundational leadership role responsible for defining Agora’s market narrative, positioning, and marketing engine as we scale.

You will own how Agora shows up in the market, from category creation and messaging to product marketing, demand generation, and brand. This is a highly strategic role, but equally hands-on, requiring someone who can operate across narrative, product, and growth while building a world-class team.

You’ll partner closely with the CEO, Sales, and Product leadership to define Agora’s position as we evolve into a multi-product platform spanning SaaS, financial services, and AI.

What You’ll Own



1. Category & Company Narrative

Help define and own the story of Agora in the market.

  • Develop and evolve Agora’s category positioning as the operating system for real estate finance
  • Translate our product evolution into a clear, compelling narrative
  • Drive consistent messaging across all external and internal channels
  • Partner with the CEO on thought leadership and market-facing storytelling
  • Help establish Agora as the reference point in our category

2. Product Marketing & Go-To-Market

Build a best-in-class product marketing function that connects product to market.

  • Own positioning and messaging across all products and platform capabilities
  • Lead launches for new offerings (payments, accounting, AI features, etc.)
  • Define ICPs, segmentation, and GTM strategy in partnership with Sales
  • Equip Sales with clear narratives, competitive positioning, and assets that win deals
  • Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and performance

3. Demand Generation & Growth Alignment

Partner with Sales to drive a predictable, scalable pipeline.

  • Develop marketing programs that contribute meaningfully to pipeline generation
  • Align closely with Sales on targets, ICPs, and funnel performance
  • Build and iterate on campaigns that support mid-market and enterprise growth
  • Establish a marketing system that balances brand-building with performance

4. Marketing Organization & Team Building

Build and lead a high-performing global marketing organization.

  • Hire, develop, and lead leaders across key marketing functions
  • Define the org structure needed for the next phase of scale
  • Create clarity, accountability, and operating rhythm across the team
  • Functions include:

  • Brand & Communications
  • Content & Thought Leadership
  • Demand Generation & Growth
  • Marketing Operations

5. Category Leadership & Market Presence

Establish Agora as a recognized leader in the space.

  • Drive analyst relations and category positioning
  • Build Agora’s presence across industry events, partnerships, and ecosystem players
  • Lead content and thought leadership strategy
  • Partner with PR and communications to amplify Agora’s voice in the market

What Success Looks Like

Within 12–24 months, success in this role means:

  • A clear, differentiated narrative that positions Agora as the operating system for real estate finance
  • Successful launches of new platform capabilities across payments, accounting, and AI
  • A marketing organization that is structured, scalable, and aligned with company growth
  • Strong partnership with Sales, contributing to consistent and predictable pipeline growth
  • Agora is widely recognized as a category leader in its space

Requirements

We’re looking for a marketing leader who can operate at both altitude and detail—someone who can define a category while also building the systems to execute against it.

You likely have:

  • Experience scaling B2B SaaS companies through significant growth stages
  • Deep expertise in product marketing and narrative-driven positioning
  • Experience in sales-led GTM environments
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Experience launching new products and expanding platforms

Bonus Points

  • Experience with platform businesses or multi-product SaaS
  • Background in fintech or financial infrastructure
  • Exposure to category creation or major repositioning efforts
