As a Full Stack Engineer, you will iterate on Bazze’s marketplace web application and participate in building out our new commercial product. You will design and implement features used by research scientists, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters, in countries around the world.You will:- Write high-performance, extensible code for UI components- Implement good web design principles so the web app and website render on desktop and mobile devices- Be responsible for client-side coding (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)- Monitor web app and website performance, and create innovative solutions to make them more visually appealing and performant- Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementation- Review designs and code with the engineering team- Propose new ideas when there is strong business value and stay up to date on the latest technology trends and techniques- Provide creative ideas and introduce cutting-edge technologyRequirements:- Specialization in Javascript, HTML5, CSS- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)- Experience with a web back-end framework such as node.js, express, django, or flask- Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL- Proficiency in Gitlab and GitHub pull request/code review workflows- Experience solving performance-related problems- Experience with PythonNice to haves:- Experience with Vue 3- Experience with AWS Services (S3, Athena, Glue, Sagemaker)- Proficiency with e-commerce payment systems such as Stripe- Experience with python libraries (pandas, numpy, etc)
