About the Role

The Account Executive is a key driver in accelerating our mission to deliver transformative legal writing tools to the professionals who need them most. You will lead the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through demo, negotiation, and closing. Connecting client challenges with BriefCatch’s unique value, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our footprint across law firms, government agencies, and enterprise legal teams. Your success will directly impact revenue growth, customer acquisition, and the long-term success of our go-to-market strategy.

This role is remote, with occasional travel for team meetings and client events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close
  • Identity and engage potential clients, strategically qualifying leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Run tailored product demos for legal professionals and decision-makers (e.g., partners, GCs, professional development leaders, operations leads)
  • Understand the nuances of legal workflows to deliver consultative, value-driven sales conversations
  • Partner with marketing and SDRs to convert inbound and outbound leads into revenue
  • Work with Customer Success to expand existing customers
  • Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives through effective sales strategies and client relationship management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to bring market feedback into the business
  • Learn, develop, and evangelize new ways for BriefCatch to differentiate itself in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Experience selling into legal, compliance, or highly regulated industries is a highly preferred
  • Strong discovery, presentation, and objection-handling skills
  • Comfortable selling to senior-level professionals (e.g., GCs, legal ops, partners)
  • Self-motivated and accountable — you’re someone who can run your own pipeline and iterate fast
  • CRM discipline (we use HubSpot) and a data-driven approach to sales

The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000 USD annually. On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000+ with uncapped commission. The actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and location.
