About the Role

Buncha is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Recruiting & People Operations Coordinator to support and strengthen our hiring and employee lifecycle processes. This is a remote role that plays a critical part in ensuring recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding run smoothly and consistently for our operations teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning execution, applying strong judgment when reviewing candidates, and building structured processes that help hiring move quickly and efficiently as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day recruiting execution, including posting roles, reviewing applicants, and coordinating interviews
  • Screen candidates against defined criteria and keep hiring managers informed on pipeline status
  • Support offer creation and candidate communication using established templates
  • Coordinate onboarding to ensure new hires are fully set up and ready on Day 1
  • Manage offboarding tasks, including access deactivation and documentation

What Success Looks Like

  • Open roles are filled in a timely manner, enabling operations rather than blocking them
  • Hiring managers have clear visibility into pipelines and feel well supported
  • Candidates experience timely, professional communication throughout the process
  • New hires are productive and fully set up from their first day
  • Recruiting and onboarding processes are efficient, consistent, and ready to scale

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in recruiting coordination or people operations in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong ability to manage high applicant volume and review resumes quickly and thoughtfully
  • Highly organized, with a track record of running structured, repeatable recruiting processes
  • Very comfortable using job boards like Indeed to post roles and screen candidates
  • Clear, professional communicator who can work independently and collaborate with U.S.-based teams
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Expected Work Timings - 2PM IST till 11 PM IST
