Our Solution:
Developers and owners no longer need to run building wiring or install in-unit hardware. Property managers can grant building access, revoke permissions, and review entry logs from an online dashboard. The Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as a key legal advisor to the company, providing strategic guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and risk management. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory matters. This position is ideal for a proactive legal expert who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and can balance legal risks with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise executives and business units on legal risks and corporate policies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, and licensing arrangements, ensuring contracts align with business goals and protect the company's interests.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyright protections.
- Advise on employment policies, equity programs, and workplace compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee corporate governance matters, including board communications, entity management, and shareholder relations.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business initiatives.
- Manage disputes, litigation, and external counsel relationships.
- Develop and implement company-wide legal policies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 5-7 or 7-10 years of corporate legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house counsel roles.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and compliance law.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
