ButterflyMX is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support gathering requirements, managing projects, diagraming solutions, maintaining our ticketing portal and sharing deployment updates for all of our enterprise system applications. You will be responsible for working closely with our sales, marketing, support, finance and our warehouse teams to understand their needs and help design solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
Partner with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across operations, sales, marketing, support, fulfillment and finance functions
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
Build relationships, network, and work closely with business users and business leadership to understand existing business processes, define new business processes, build roadmaps, set priorities, and execute complex projects.
Present ideas, designs, and areas of expertise to business user groups, including management, for alignment and signoff
Document detailed requirements and solution designs using visualization tools like LucidCharts
Carry out functional testing and assist the QA review process for Change Approvals.
Assist the Business Systems Department in determining the scope and impact of enhancement requests, estimating effort, developing detailed project plans with a timeline, managing cutover tasks, tracking delivery to timelines, and communicating status with appropriate cadence.
Maintain systems team backlog, including building out and configuring tools, ensuring it is clear, complete, and up to date
Manage release planning, ensuring RACI model is defined and being followed
Provide reporting on systems team performance and impact and help with goal planning and tracking
About you
5+ years of experience in a similar role
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Established written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor approach based upon audience and message.
Hands-on experience with change management tools/methodologies.
Extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM, ERP’s, WMS and Billing Systems
Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs
The ability to communicate system issues and impacts to business stakeholders in clear, non-technical terms.
A desire to succeed in a data-driven, fast-pace, ever-evolving, and entrepreneurial environment
Project management experience
Experience interacting with senior management / executive teams
