Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is looking for a Fulfillment Supervisor to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The Fulfillment Team Lead will own daily fulfillment SLAs, build the daily production plan, and manage the team that fulfills, ships, and recovers assets for thousands of dental practices every month at our site in Utah. We partner with dentists across the country and route thousands of orders to labs every month, and this role makes sure the supply side of our managed marketplace keeps up with demand as we work toward our goal to modernize the dental lab process.

You'll lead Associates and Senior Associates across the workstreams that keep the marketplace running: asset recovery, inventory operations, and 3PL coordination. You'll own labor allocation, the site's quality outcomes, and the safety program. You'll take direct responsibility for the complex day-to-day operations, and you'll also be the hiring manager for the team and the first point of contact for cross-functional partners when something on the floor needs to be unblocked.

You'll report to Fulfillment leadership, who owns the operational roadmap and capacity planning. That gives you room to focus on running the floor well and crafting more efficient and effective fulfillment processes as we scale, with a clear partner for the decisions that exceed site authority. We're looking for someone who wants to operate in the details today and grow into broader scope as Dandy's fulfillment footprint expands.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the team. Hiring manager for Associates and Senior Associates. Own onboarding, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and the site safety program. Coach Seniors to coach Associates so the bench keeps building

  • Run the floor. Build the daily production plan, allocate labor across workstreams, and make real-time calls when volume shifts. Own the SLAs that keep dental practices supplied and operating

  • Own quality outcomes. Run root-cause analysis when defects, mis-picks, or returns trends move the wrong direction. Own SOP currency across the site so the team is always working from an accurate playbook

  • Manage day-to-day vendor and cross-functional coordination. Primary site contact for our 3PL, repair, and refurb vendor partners, and for Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, and IT teams when something needs to be unblocked

  • Identify and pilot improvements. Spot bottlenecks across the workstreams, scope the fix, run the pilot, and own the result. Help scale the operation as Dandy grows. Bring data, not anecdote

  • Solve problems. Modernizing the dental lab industry means daily obstacles are the norm rather than the exception. Make thoughtful, efficient calls in the moment, and bring durable fixes to the patterns underneath them

  • Use data to drive decisions. Build the analytical habits and reporting that let the site run on facts rather than instinct. Surface what the team and leadership need to see to make better calls

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to be full-time in office Monday through Friday in Salt Lake City, UT

  • 3+ years in distribution, warehousing, fulfillment, or manufacturing operations, with 1 to 2 years directly leading a frontline hourly team

  • Hiring manager experience for hourly roles, including onboarding, coaching, and the difficult conversations that come with people leadership

  • Track record of owning daily operational KPIs (cycle time, accuracy, on-time ship rate) and hitting them in a fast-moving environment

  • Strong analytical instincts: you read dashboards, spot patterns, and run real root-cause analysis

  • Comfortable making real-time calls in ambiguous situations and reallocating labor when volume shifts

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional partners

  • Familiarity with operational tooling such as NetSuite, RF Smart, Salesforce, or Zendesk

Bonus Points For

  • Startup or high-growth company experience, ideally through a meaningful headcount or volume ramp

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or another regulated environment

  • Experience with reverse logistics, returns programs, or asset recovery operations

  • Experience managing 3PL or vendor partner relationships

  • Track record of scaling a frontline team through a growth phase

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, RF Smart, or similar operational ERP
