About the position:

Lumen’s People team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager & Employee Experience to join our HR team and lead all aspects of office operations and employee-facing experiences.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a functional, well-managed, and welcoming office environment, while also supporting onboarding processes and driving initiatives that foster engagement, connection, and wellbeing across the organization. You’ll work closely with HR, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to help shape a workplace where people can thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and well-maintained work environment
  • Handle relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Lead the logistical side of onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistent and professional experiences for all employees
  • Plan and execute internal events, team-building activities, and wellness programs
  • Support company-wide employee experience initiatives in collaboration with the HR team
  • Maintain a strong connection to the company’s values, helping promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
  • Contribute to internal communication efforts, including organizing all-hands, celebrations, and announcements
  • Take part in cross-functional projects that support Lumen’s culture and employee engagement strategy

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, employee experience, or HR operations roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment – a plus
