About the position:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic VP Growth Marketing to lead Lumen’s growth strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing growth team, managing large-scale budgets exceeding $2M per month, and driving measurable results across all acquisition, retention, and monetization channels.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2C companies, with deep expertise in performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, data-driven decision-making, and innovative growth strategies. You will play a critical role in shaping Lumen’s global growth, optimizing ROI, and identifying new opportunities to expand our user base and maximize lifetime value.
Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class growth marketing team.
- Manage and optimize all website panels and funnels (landing pages, sign-up flows, user activation paths, conversion panels) to maximize user acquisition and retention.
- Develop and execute data-driven strategies to acquire, retain, and engage customers at scale.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Creative, and Engineering teams to develop and improve website components, user journeys, and creative materials related to growth initiatives.
- Oversee the creation, testing, and optimization of creative assets and campaigns to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
- Leverage analytics and market insights to continuously improve campaigns and identify new growth opportunities.
- Drive experimentation and A/B testing to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in B2C companies, ideally in health tech, consumer apps, or subscription-based businesses.
- Strong expertise in performance marketing (paid search, social, display, programmatic), lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
- Experience managing and optimizing large marketing budgets ($1M+ monthly).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and solve problems quickly.
