About the position:

We’re looking for a Senior Growth Content Marketing Manager to own performance messaging end-to-end, from insight and concept through execution and iteration.

This role is responsible for developing Lumen’s messaging framework and delivering high-performing copy that drives lead generation and conversion across ads, emails, landing pages, and partner marketing assets. You will shape and evolve positioning for weight loss and GLP-1 audiences, translating insights, strategy, and performance data into clear, compelling messaging that can be deployed and iterated at scale.

This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, strong execution, and use of AI to scale both the quality and quantity of performance content. You will have direct ownership of copy quality, consistency, and iteration, and operate as a core partner to Acquisition, Lifecycle, CRO, and Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging across paid ads, emails, landing pages, and partner marketing assets
  • Write, test, and iterate conversion-focused copy for paid ads (static copy and video scripts), emails, landing pages, and partner marketing assets
  • Design and use AI-powered workflows to accelerate ideation, variation, versioning, and iteration of copy while maintaining quality
  • Develop hooks, angles, value propositions, objections, and narratives for performance marketing
  • Translate performance data, user insights, and growth priorities into clear creative concepts and copy hypotheses
  • Iterate copy based on performance feedback and clearly connect changes to outcomes
  • Create partner-ready copy for co-branded assets, landing pages, emails, and enablement materials
  • Adapt core messaging for different audiences, channels, and partner contexts
  • Stay informed on content marketing trends, competitor messaging, and category best practices to inform positioning and copy decisions

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting and performance content marketing
  • Experience writing high-performing copy for ads, emails, and landing pages
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels, hooks, and conversion psychology
  • Experience developing and maintaining messaging frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to materially increase copy output, speed, or testing velocity, not just for brainstorming
  • Proven ability to design prompt frameworks, templates, or AI workflows to support iteration and experimentation
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-iteration environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience using AI tools to increase speed and scale without compromising quality
  • Native English proficiency
  • Experience in DTC, health, wellness, or weight loss - nice to have
