Designation: Quality Control Executive

Location: BKC, Mumbai (In office)

Working shift : Afternoon Shift (1pm to 10pm)

We are looking for a Diamond Quality Control professional to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for Quality Control before processing the diamonds for shipments.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform QC on 100% stones before shipping

  • Ensure stones are quality checked as soon as they arrive and decrease waiting time to perform QC on each stone

  • Perform QC as per the set process maintaining high standards of Nivoda Quality Control which become industry benchmark

  • Ensure 0 customer complaints with regards to quality of stones

  • Notify customers of all quality control issues and get buyer team to offer replacement goods if needed

  • Ensure all stones are collected in a timely manner, checked for quality and handed over to the Shipping team for timely delivery

  • Take delivery of all stones delivered in the office. Match invoice with system price

  • Responsible for safe upkeep of all stones received in office

  • Daily matching of stones received, shipped and stored in safe

What you'll need:

  • 5 years + Experience in diamond grading and quality assessment across all categories

  • Knowledge of diamonds

  • Speaks good English, written and verbal

  • Is transparent & honest- as he/she will be dealing with stones

  • Ability to multitask efficiently with multiple counterparts

  • Attention to detail

  • Humble, honest, trustworthy

  • Shows respect & appreciation for every person

  • Takes 100% responsibility with a can do attitude - Does not blame, complain, criticize or condemn
