About the Role
We are looking for a highly proactive, operationally sharp, and people-first Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day functioning of our Buyer operations team. You will be the backbone of our global buyer operations—managing workflow across suppliers, support and global fulfilment teams. This role is central to ensuring daily success across our global fulfilment operations to ensure we meet customer expectations in terms of sourcing and confirming all orders as per customer requirements bridging on the ground execution with strategic team development, process optimization, and interoffice alignment.
As the current Operations Manager transitions out of the role, this is an exciting opportunity to build upon an established foundation, mentor a team, and drive results in a high-growth environment.

What You'll Do
Run buyer operations, non purchase order, special requests and jewelery operations team that provides 24*7 support to our customers
Ensure all orders placed or requests raised are confirmed/responded to within the SLAs
Bridge the gap between customers, suppliers and support teams
Build processes to ensure as demand grows we are able to scale the operations efficiently while maintaining our SLAs.
Maintain strong local relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Review weekly operational metrics by function and implement improvements.
Lead team check-ins (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), creating personal development plans and ensuring responsibilities are calendar-blocked and enforced.
Partner with other Nivoda hubs for cross-office alignment and contribute insights in weekly business reviews (WBRs).
Communicate platform updates, changes in SOPs, or workflow enhancements with transparency and clarity.
Cultivate a positive team culture rooted in accountability, clarity, and growth.
Leverage data tools (e.g ThoughtSpot, Excel, BI dashboards) to track inquiry fulfillment, production speed, and returns.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years in operations, fulfillment, or logistics-based office management
5+ years experience in managing or leading small teams
Demonstrated ability to execute and enforce daily operational workflows
Proficiency in ThoughtSpot, Excel/Sheets, logistics tools, and time-based performance tracking
Clear, effective communicator and highly organized leader
Diamond knowledge would be preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the diamond, gemstone, or luxury goods industry
Proven ability to build systems for operational improvement and team performance
Strong local familiarity with India diamond operations
Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
100% of daily orders placed confirmed same-day
Weekly report submission and continuous WBR participation
