About the Role

Nivoda is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Global Fulfillment Team. In this role, you will be the primary analytical partner for our Fulfillment Department, ensuring that our supply chain, logistics, and delivery operations are optimized for speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

You will bridge the gap between complex logistical data and actionable business strategy. The ideal candidate is a SQL expert who enjoys digging into messy data to find the "why" behind the numbers and who knows how to leverage modern AI tools to work faster and smarter. You will play a key role in monitoring fulfilment performance, identifying issues, and enabling the team to move faster with data.

What You'll Do

  • Operational Optimization: Analyze fulfilment workflows to identify bottlenecks across the supply chain and propose data-backed solutions to improve delivery speed, cost efficiency, and reliability.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards tracking key fulfillment KPIs, including shipping costs, transit times, SLA adherence, and hub performance. Ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for stakeholders.

  • SQL & Data Analysis: Independently write and own complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large fulfilment datasets. Translate business questions into structured queries, build reusable data models, and ensure consistent KPI definitions across reporting.

  • Insights & Decision Support: Go beyond reporting to proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within fulfilment data. Generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Logistics, Product, and Data teams to understand pain points, support decision-making, and provide analytical input into key strategic initiatives.

  • Data Modeling: Work with Data Engineers to ensure fulfillment data is clean, well-structured, and scalable within the data warehouse, supporting long-term analytics and reporting needs.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor data integrity across fulfilment systems, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain trust in reporting and operational metrics.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track key fulfilment KPIs on an ongoing basis, proactively flagging issues, anomalies, and performance deviations. Investigate root causes using data and support continuous monitoring of courier performance, batching efficiency, and delivery speed to ensure consistent operational reliability.

  • Leverage AI Tools: Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks and draft written outputs. We expect this person to be a practitioner of AI-assisted work, not just someone who is curious about it.

What You'll Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role

  • Advanced SQL: Strong proficiency writing complex, performant queries. Comfortable with joins, aggregations, window functions, and working with large datasets independently

  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to translate raw data into clear insights and recommendations that influence business decisions

  • Problem Solving: Ability to investigate ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and structure data-driven solutions

  • Domain Interest: Interest in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain operations

Highly Desirable:

  • Modern Data Stack: Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake orBigQuery

  • Data Transformation: Exposure to tools like dbt or experience structuring reusable datasets/models

  • Visualization Tools: Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
