The position

We’re searching for a Product Marketing Marketer to be the champion of our customers and the voice of our product in the market. In this critical role, you’ll shape how we position and communicate the value of our product, ensuring a seamless, impactful experience across every stage of the customer journey. What You'll Do

The Product Marketing Manager will own product positioning, messaging, and the development of strategies to engage, acquire, and retain customers. As the hub of our marketing wheel, you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure our product meets and exceeds consumer expectations at every touchpoint.

  • Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with consumers and differentiates us in the market across the journey. This will include developing and executing strategies to increase trial-to-paid conversion and reduce churn through strategic messaging and product positioning.
  • Product Launch & GTM: Own product launches and go-to-market strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful feature releases. This includes developing launch plans and positioning, creating compelling product narratives, coordinating marketing activities, and measuring launch success through key metrics.
  • Consumer Champion: Own the entire customer journey from acquisition and engagement to retention, acting as a champion of the consumer experience. Collaborate with teams to transform complex loyalty and travel concepts into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with both novice and expert travelers and improve our conversion rates and engagement.
  • Insights-driven Action: Leverage data from where you can find it, including NPS scores as well as unconventional sources, such as online communities, to inform marketing approaches.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the hub of marketing, working closely with the entire Marketing team, Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to align efforts and strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand how other brands, companies, and customers talk about our shared problem space, and translate those insights into actionable strategies.

Who You Are

  • Storyteller: You excel at translating complex ideas into engaging, consumer-focused narratives, allowing your messaging to cut through the noise and drive results.
  • Data-Driven: Track record of using data and customer insights to drive product positioning and messaging decisions. Ability to analyze user behavior data and testing results to optimize messaging and user flows. You’re a strategic thinker who combines creativity with actionable insights, leveraging tools like NPS or persona research, to elevate the user experience.
  • Resourceful: You’re a scrappy problem solver who digs deep to uncover insights and translate them into action.
  • Collaborative: You are highly collaborative team member who thrives in cross-functional settings, and has a proven ability to work across multiple teams and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Consumer Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in product marketing or consumer marketing roles, with a focus on customer journeys and engagement in a direct to consumer environment.
  • Experience & Execution: You have experience with subscription products and deep understanding of conversion/retention drivers, ideally from travel, loyalty, fintech or related consumer services. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to balance quick wins with strategic initiatives while building and scaling product marketing programs.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000-$155,000. Specific compensation will be determined based on your level of experience.

Given the nature of our business, we anticipate that all team members will be traveling from time to time, including company trips and off-sites, or meeting with strategic partners. As such, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a condition of employment at point.me. We’ll ask you to send us a copy of your vaccination card in advance of your first day.
