Producer
Slice
Ilir Sela started Slice with the belief that local pizzerias deserve all of the advantages of major franchises without compromising their independence. Starting with his family’s pizzerias, we now empower over tens of thousands of restaurants with the technology, services, and collective power that owners need to better serve their digitally minded customers and build lasting businesses. We’re growing and adding more talent to help fulfil this valuable mission. That’s where you come in.
The Challenge to Solve
Ensure every Slice video production — whether it’s a new pizzeria opening, a heartfelt owner story, or a product launch — is planned, executed, and delivered smoothly, on time, and with creative excellence.
The Role
Slice is looking for an experienced, resourceful Video Producer to join our newly forming, in-house video production team. This role will hold primary responsibility for coordinating all aspects of video shoots — handling the logistics, schedules, communications, and documentation that keep our productions running efficiently and creatively aligned.
You’ll be involved from the earliest stages of pre-production through to delivery, working in close partnership with the Head of Video, Camera Operators, Editors, and key stakeholders across the company. From scouting a shop location to securing permits, managing timelines, and troubleshooting on the fly, you’ll be the glue that holds our storytelling operation together.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and has experience managing productions both big and small.
You’ll drive impact through responsibilities like:
- Coordinate all phases of video production, including pre-production planning, on-set logistics, and post-production workflows
- Own scheduling across multiple video initiatives, balancing deadlines, team availability, and business priorities
- Manage crew coordination, equipment bookings, and travel planning for shoots
- Handle legal and administrative tasks, such as location agreements, release forms, and insurance documentation
- Maintain and evolve our internal production checklist and workflow templates
- Identify and mitigate risks or delays through thoughtful contingency planning
- Support budgeting and cost tracking across multiple productions
- Occasionally assist on set as needed (e.g., PA, logistics support, call sheet distribution)
The Winning Recipe
You’re a calm, organized presence who thrives in managing the chaos of production logistics and loves making creative projects possible. You bring:
- 4+ years of experience in video production with strong producing/project management skills
- Experience coordinating field shoots, managing crews, and building production timelines
- Strong working knowledge of video production processes and roles
- Familiarity with legal paperwork related to video production (e.g., releases, location agreements)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple timelines while staying focused on quality and detail
- Willingness to travel for on-location shoots
The Extras
Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights:
- Flexible PTO
- Market leading medical, vision and dental insurance
- 401K matching up to 4%
- Wellness reimbursement/stipend
- Weekly pizza stipend (Yes, that’s a thing!)
Salary Range: $90-110k + benefits
