As we grow, we’re expanding our global People team to support that mission, especially in our Customer Experience Centre in Prishtina. That’s where you come in.
The Opportunity
Shape the future of Slice in the Balkans by leading strategic People initiatives across our offices in Kosovo (Prishtina) and North Macedonia (Skopje, Diber, Ohrid). In this regional leadership role, you'll partner with local leaders and our global People team to drive talent, culture, and organizational success, ensuring Slice is not just a great place to work globally, but also locally relevant and impactful.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, people-first HR leader to join Slice as the Director, People Partners for the Balkans Region. Based in Prishtina, this role is responsible for translating global People strategies into actionable, localised programs and support for our teams in Kosovo and North Macedonia. You’ll be a trusted advisor to regional business leaders, while also owning the employee experience across the offices.
This is a hands-on, regional leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a high-growth, dynamic environment, balances empathy with business acumen, and is energized by building and scaling people programs that support engagement, retention, and performance.
You’ll also:
- Be a close partner to local and regional leaders, offering strategic guidance while addressing day-to-day People needs.
- Lead and implement people programs that reflect both global Slice strategies and local requirements, including performance management, employee development, engagement, and culture.
- Act as the local subject matter expert in employee relations and compliance, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with Slice values and regional labor laws.
- Coach and support managers to be strong people leaders and navigate people challenges effectively.
- Leverage data to identify trends and opportunities, shaping proactive People initiatives in partnership with the global team.
- Partner with colleagues across the People function to deliver a high-quality, consistent employee experience across all offices.
- Represent the voice of the Balkans region within global People conversations, ensuring regional perspectives and needs are factored into global People strategy.
The Winning Recipe
We’re seeking a dynamic HR leader with exceptional consultative skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced in high-volume customer support environments. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving landscape and is ready to step in and make a meaningful impact wherever needed. We seek a leader with a people-first, commercial mindset.
You’ll also have:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 in a leadership or strategic role.
- Prior experience working in a customer support or high-volume operations environment, ideally supporting large teams of customer service professionals.
- Experience supporting regional or multi-site operations in the Balkans.
- Proven ability to translate global strategy into local impact
- Strong generalist HR expertise across employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation, and local labour law.
- Proven ability to build credibility and trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation, from frontline employees to senior leadership.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, scaling organisations with evolving structures and processes.
- Fluency in English and Albanian required.

The Hiring Process
Here’s what we expect the hiring process for this role to be, should all go well with your candidacy. This entire process is expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete and you’d be expected to start on a specific date.
