Who You Are:
We’re looking for a skilled Solutions Engineer to join Stay AI’s Solutions team and help shape the foundation of our technical pre-sales motion. As an early member of this team, you’ll work directly with our Staff Solutions Engineer and cross-functional partners in Sales, Success, Product, and Engineering.
You’ll play a pivotal role in helping prospective customers understand and unlock the power of Stay AI - combining technical acumen, product expertise, and storytelling to craft solutions that fit each brand’s unique retention goals. You’ll also help build the playbooks, tools, and processes that scale our SE function as we grow.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional pre-sales experiences - from discovery to tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical deep dives.
Own technical validation, addressing complex questions around platform capabilities, APIs, and integrations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to advocate for customer needs and surface insights that inform roadmap priorities.
Create scalable assets like demo environments, technical documentation, solution guides, and integration blueprints.
Be a trusted advisor to both merchants and partners, helping them architect best-in-class subscription programs using Stay AI.
Who You Are:
You’re an excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts in simple, compelling ways.
You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and enjoy building things from scratch.
You have a strong mix of technical aptitude and sales empathy, understanding what drives buying decisions.
You’re resourceful, curious, and proactive. When faced with a challenge, you figure it out and document it for others.
You’re comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
What You Bring:
3-5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role at a SaaS company (ideally in ecommerce).
Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce tech stacks is a major plus.
Experience with APIs, webhooks is preferred.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills, both technical and business-oriented.
