Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.
We’re looking for passionate fully licensed Psychiatrists to serve as Collaborating / Supervising Physicians for our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). This is a flexible, primarily non-clinical role focused on oversight, collaboration, and quality assurance within a fully remote care model serving Medicaid populations.

What you’ll need
Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Colorado
Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent)
Working knowledge of collaborative practice requirements for PMHNPs
Experience treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan
Comfort with telehealth models, EHR-based chart review, and remote communication tools

Strong clinical judgment across a range of psychiatric presentations and populations

The ability to thoughtfully balance regulatory supervision requirements with meaningful clinical partnership
What you'll do
Provide required physician collaboration/supervision to assigned PMHNPs
Conduct regular chart reviews to ensure clinical quality, appropriate prescribing, and documentation integrity
Meet weekly with PMHNPs to discuss complex cases, diagnostic questions, and treatment planning
Provide real-time and asynchronous consultation on challenging or escalating patient presentations
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, prescribing guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives
