The Role:
As a key leader within the Supply Chain Ops team, the Manager of Network Operations will drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational excellence for our customers, focusing on cost efficiency, speed, and service optimization. This role requires a high level of autonomy in shaping and executing the overarching Network Operations strategy. The Manager will collaborate extensively with cross-functional executives to elevate our customer order life cycle, emphasizing Thrasio’s intricate end-to-end replenishment execution activities. Partnering closely with fulfillment and transportation executives, this role will be instrumental in meeting the inventory demands of our rapidly expanding customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Order Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of and oversee the complete order lifecycle, from initiation to fulfillment, ensuring seamless and accurate order processing to exceed customer expectations.
  • Daily Operations Coordination: Lead and coordinate daily operational processes, meticulously utilizing advanced tracking, reporting, and dashboards to ensure 100% accuracy. Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
  • Transaction Management: Manage a team for daily transactions across various systems, including G-suite, WMS, NetSuite, Excel, and Amazon Seller Central, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
  • Fulfillment Partner Engagement: Engage with fulfillment partners at an executive level, overseeing critical projects such as pickup requests, cycle counts, repacking, relabeling, rerouting, and other related tasks.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analysis and metrics to drive strategic decision-making, optimizing supply chain processes, minimizing errors, and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with various departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and proactively resolve cross-functional challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to continuously optimize supply chain processes, implement industry best practices, and strive for operational excellence.
  • KPI Ownership: Own key performance indicators (KPIs) around replenishment cycle time from request to point of sale, on-time in full, and right first time reduction in order life cycle.
  • Reporting to Senior Leadership: Generate and present comprehensive reports to senior leadership, providing insights into network operations performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Working Cross-Functionally with Executives: Collaborate at an executive level across functions to align strategies, resolve challenges, and drive overall business success.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Apply a creative approach to problem-solving, exploring innovative solutions that align with data-driven insights and strategic goals.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all network operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, taking a leadership role in maintaining a culture of compliance within the team.
  • Documentation and Audit Preparedness: Maintain meticulous records and documentation of network operations for reporting, audit, and strategic planning purposes.

Team Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of 5+ coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Network Operations team
  • Performance Management: Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to the coordinators, ensuring individual and team goals align with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training programs to enhance team members' capabilities, fostering professional growth.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources within the team to optimize productivity and meet operational goals.
  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate strong management skills, promoting open communication and collaboration within the team and across the broader organization.

What You Bring to the Party:

  • Educational Background: BS Degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, distribution, fulfillment, direct-to-consumer, ecommerce, or a related supply chain field. CPG experience is preferred.
  • Technology Proficiency: Strong understanding of ERP systems and supply chain software
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology for advanced supply chain management is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to execute, influence, and drive decisions with internal stakeholders and third-party providers, including executive-level engagement.
  • Analytical Skills: Adept at data analysis and forecasting, demonstrating a love for solving complex problems through systematic data dissection.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator in both regular and high-pressure situations, with excellent business writing and presentation skills.
  • Leadership Qualities: Self-directed leader with a focus on resourceful project and task delivery, thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Passion for Excellence: Demonstrated passion for excellence, with a track record of delivering results in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects concurrently, adept at adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Highly skilled in using spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Smartsheets.

We believe that all employees should be paid fairly and equitably. As of the time of this posting, the expected base annual salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 . (For non-exempt roles, this reflects the expected base annual “salary” as calculated by the base hourly wage multiplied by the expected number of hours worked over a one year period, excluding any overtime and premiums.) The actual base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the base annual salary range information set forth above is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed above may reflect that breadth. If offered a position, the actual base annual salary will be contained in your offer letter.
In addition to the base annual salary listed above, this position is eligible for short-term [and long-term] incentive compensation, as well as benefits, which are subject to the applicable plans, policies and definitive documentation regarding such compensation and benefits.
