Flashpass is an EdTech company with a big mission - to solve AI-induced unemployment in America, which is set to impact 25% - 40% of the labor force in the next five years (https://www.jobslost.ai/).

Through the Flashpass platform, governments pay for users who lose their jobs to AI to be reskilled and placed at employers. Users can earn certificates in anything from cybersecurity to well plugging and electrical engineering.

We're building a new healthcare systems training course, teaching people with no healthcare background the non-clinical skills behind a patient visit, from booking to payment, including registration, insurance verification, and medical billing and coding. We're looking to bring on a Healthcare Consultant with medical billing and coding expertise to review our course content for accuracy, making sure everything we teach reflects how billing and coding actually works in the field. An ideal candidate has hands on professional experience in medical billing and/or coding (CPC, CBCS, or equivalent certification preferred) and is comfortable working alongside a production team.

Responsibilities

• Review scripted content for medical billing and coding accuracy prior to and during filming
• Advise on real world billing/coding workflows, terminology, and common error patterns to ensure content reflects actual practice
• Flag inaccuracies or oversimplifications in course material and recommend corrections
• Answer production-team questions on claims processing, code sets (ICD-10, CPT), clearinghouses, denials, and payer-specific nuances

Qualifications

• Hands-on professional experience in medical billing and/or coding (CBCS, CPC, or equivalent certification preferred)
• Comfortable working in a production/filming environment and collaborating with a non-clinical creative team
• Strong communicator who can translate technical billing/coding concepts into plain language
• Prior experience with training content, curriculum review, or educational video work is a plus
